Jason Krause is 26 years old and from Chesapeake, VA. He loves his family, independence, baseball, vintage cars, music, traveling, and is a resident foodie. Jason is developing his own business, Krause Works,  through customized employment with help from DARS, The Choice Group, and Riffin-Hammis Associates, so look out, Shark Tank! Jason is also a Youth Leader with the Inclusion Project and consults on other projects like SALTRR with the Partnership for People with Disabilities at VCU. 

What makes Jason special is his smile, wicked sense of humor, and his passion to be purposeful. Jason has a TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) and CP. He uses his power wheelchair for mobility and to control his AAC device for communication. Jason is working to be not only an active member of his community but also to help others see him and others beyond their disabilities. Jason wants to help everyone understand that while he may not communicate like others, he still has a voice. With some assistance from his team, Jason works to be the best version of himself every day.
