
Hannah Setzer
Hannah Setzer was born with a rare medical condition called Cystic Hygroma of the head and neck and has undergone more than 50 surgeries since birth. She is a dedicated Disability Rights Advocate in Virginia, working in her dream role after earning a Master’s in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU).
Hannah is also a farmer, published author, social media influencer, award-winning athlete, and public speaker. Her work and life have been featured on Richmond-area news, Good Morning America, and across numerous blogs and Substack newsletters that showcase her perspective on disability and inclusion.
Outside of her professional work, Hannah enjoys a range of creative and meaningful hobbies and spending time with her husband and their 15-year-old foster daughter. She is excited to lead her first session at The Arc of Virginia Convention.
