With over 19 years of experience in supporting families with developmental disabilities in Virginia, Robin is dedicated to making a positive impact in her community. Robin holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, which added knowledge and passion for helping families navigate the complexities of mental health and developmental systems. Robin’s commitment to advocacy and empowerment extends beyond her role at The Arc of Virginia; she has also worked with other nonprofits, leveraging her expertise to assist families across various domains. Robin’s passion for her work is deeply personal, having a son with autism. This firsthand experience drives her determination to create meaningful change and support others facing similar challenges. She strongly advocates for inclusivity, ensuring parents understand their rights and empowering them to make informed decisions for their loved ones. Outside of her work, Robin enjoys crocheting, refinishing furniture, and spending time with her two sons and 3 dogs.
