Peter, is a Hanover County resident with a passion for empowering individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (ID/DD). Peter's 20-year background in law enforcement, including his experience as a Community Liaison Officer in New Jersey, fuels his strong belief in the importance of increased ID/DD training for law enforcement. He recognizes that this training fosters safer interactions, promotes fairness, and ultimately builds a more inclusive and just community. Now a valued member of the Information & Resources Team, Peter brings his dedication to empowering individuals with ID/DD directly to those who need it most. He leverages his experience to provide families and individuals with comprehensive information on critical topics related to ID/DD, including advocacy, education, employment, and community living options. Peter's unwavering conviction is that people with ID/DD deserve the same opportunities to thrive as anyone else.
