Jennifer Brown is the CEO and co-founder of Community Knights, Inc. Community Knights is a nonprofit local to the Virginia Peninsula. Their main program provides Pre-ETS services to local high school students. Jennifer is also the mother of two young women in their 30s. Her younger daughter has autism and an intellectual disability. When her daughter started school, Jennifer began educating herself on special education. She graduated from Partners in Policymaking in 2002 and studied at Wrightslaw. She advocated for her daughter in school and for many other students who needed an advocate. Jennifer was the Vice Chair of the SEAC in her daughter's school district for several years. Jennifer currently works with her READY team at Community Knights to provide high-quality Pre-ETS services to students on the Peninsula.
