Ingrid brings a unique perspective to the field of vocational rehabilitation, combining extensive professional experience with personal insights. Since 1994, Ingrid has been dedicated to providing vocational rehabilitation services. This long-standing commitment underscores her joy in navigating the complexities of obtaining and maintaining the right job for each client. Beyond her professional achievements, Ingrid's personal journey has profoundly shaped her understanding and advocacy. As a mother of five adult children, each with a range of learning and developmental disabilities, she has firsthand knowledge of the triumphs and challenges faced by families navigating these diagnoses. Her experiences, both in the professional sphere and as a parent, offer a comprehensive view of the support systems and strategies that are most effective in fostering growth and successful employment for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.Ingrid's dedication stems from a deep belief in the potential of every individual. She understands the importance of celebrating strengths, fostering self-esteem, and creating environments that promote independence.  A multidisciplinary approach that addresses all life domains can create more inclusive and equitable employment for individuals with disabilities, enriching their lives and strengthening communities. This means addressing not just employment-specific needs, but also the various life domains that impact an individual's ability to obtain and sustain meaningful work.  Employment provides people with disabilities the dignity of choice, the chance to build friendships, and the pride of contributing to their households and communities.
